The Fifth World Piano Conference, gathering pianists and pedagogues from North and South America, Europe, and Asia, as well as members of various music teachers associations and students from all around the world, over 80 participants in total from twenty countries, took place at Isidor Bajić Music School in Novi Sad, from June 27 through July 3, 2013.
The Gala Opening Ceremony of the Fifth World Piano Conference (The Novi Sad Synagogue, June 27, 2013) featured Tomoka Kan/Great Britain (St. Paul‘s Girls School – London, Royal College of Music, Junior Department – London), Ivan Holodov/Serbia (Isidor Bajić Music School – Novi Sad), Aleksandar Đermanović/Serbia (Academy of Arts – Novi Sad, Royal College of Music – London), and Ana Bursać/Serbia (Isidor Bajić Music School – Novi Sad), who performed with the WPC Residential Orchestra under the baton of Andrej Bursać.
The program of the Fifth World Piano Conference was realized at the Isidor Bajić Music School Concert Hall and encompassed seminars, piano recitals, concerts, and lectures presented by pianists, piano teachers, and piano students from the country and abroad.
The Gala Closing Ceremony of the Fifth World Piano Conference took place at the Main Hall of the Cultural Center of Novi Sad on July 3, 2013. On this occasion, Ingmar Piano Duo, comprised of two pianists from Novi Sad, Slobodanka Stević and Aleksandar Gligić, who are also teachers at Isidor Bajić Music School, presented their new CD release featuring works by Serbian composers.
The Sixth World Piano Conference will be held at Isidor Bajić Music School in Novi Sad, Serbia from June 27 to July 3, 2014.
