A summer concert celebrating talented young musicianship in two European countries

Showcasing the continued cultural cooperation between the sister cities of Norwich and Novi Sad, Isidor Bajic Music School will play host to the Norfolk County Youth Orchestra and their teachers. Two concert events featuring this visiting group of 49 talented young musicians from Norfolk playing alongside 6 students from Isidor Bajic will take place in Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci. This is a pilot visit run by Norfolk Music Service, to re-establish and strengthen links formed 50 years ago in the setting up of a Novi Sad- Norwich twinning association. 6 Teachers and students from Novi Sad will return with the party, and it is hoped that a full joint youth orchestra exchange may be established to run annually from then on.
